How long is the Official Flemington Ghost Walk?
The Ghost Walk is approximately 1.5 miles and lasts about 1 hour 45 Min.

Where does the Official Flemington Ghost Walk start?

The Ghost Walk begins at Within Spirit at 37 Stangl Rd., Flemington, NJ.  We are located across from Lone Eagle Brewing and next to Skunktown Distillery.
 

Do all Ghost Walks start at the same time?

No, please reference your individual booking for your start time.  We start the tours based off of the sunset schedule for the day, as well as if we have multiple tours running each night during the fall.  Please also arrive prior to your start time.  We leave promptly at the tour start time.  

Are pictures allowed on the Official Flemington Ghost Walk?
Pictures of historic buildings are permitted along the Ghost Walk however we do ask that you refrain from any photography in residential areas of the Ghost Walk.

Is the tour appropriate for children?

The tour is Child friendly. However, the tour is a mile and a half long with various stops.  Parents should consider if this will be appropriate for their child.  We are more than happy to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.

 

Are skateboards, scooters, roller skates etc. permitted on the Official Flemington Ghost Walk?

Unfortunately we do not allow the above to be used during the tour.  

 

Is the tour handicapped accessible?

During the Ghost Walk you may encounter uneven sidewalks and asphalt as well as hilly areas.  While we never want to discourage anyone from taking the tour, but please keep in mind that this is a 1.5 mile walking tour.  Please consider these conditions if you have physical limitations that may prevent you from completing the tour.  If you have any questions, we are more than happy to discuss them with you.
 

Is smoking permitted on the Official Flemington Ghost Walk?
No. Please refrain from smoking during the Ghost Walk as a courtesy to the other patrons.

 

Are pets allowed on the tour?

We are HUGE animal people, but not everyone is and not all animals get along.  Therefore, we ask that you leave your furry or scaly friends at home.  

Will we have a chance to tour the locations on the Official Flemington Ghost Walk?
Unfortunately we do not have access to the inside of the locations during the Ghost Walk.

 

Are alcoholic beverages permitted on the Official Flemington Ghost Walk?

Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted  on the Ghost Walk. If you are visibly intoxicated and/or disruptive on the tour, you will be asked to leave without a refund.  There is a weekend open container ordinance on Stangl Road, but that does not apply to the entire town, therefore as much as we'd love to have a tour with alcohol on it, it is not possible.  Lone Eagle Brewing and Skunktown Distillery are both open before and after the tours, should you wish to enjoy an adult beverage. 

 

Is the Official Flemington Ghost Walk Rain or Shine?

The short answer is Yes! The long answer is a bit more complicated.  The Ghost Walk will run if there is drizzle/light rain/flurries.  For the safety of our guests as well as our tour guides, a tour may be cancelled if dangerous weather is predicted, including but not limited to thunderstorms, torrential downpours, tornados and hurricanes.  Please check the weather so that you may come prepared if it does rain.  If there is a cancellation we will post to our Facebook page as well as do our best to advise attendees of such via email.
 

 My plans have changed, can I get a refund?

There is a no refund policy for the Ghost Walk except in the event that we cancel the ghost walk. In the instance of a weather cancellation, we will allow a credit to reschedule for a future ghost walk date.
